Guide hachette des vins - 2010

Not every wine estate in burgundy goes back to the 19th century. Jean-Baptiste Clair
represents only the second generation of wine growers, but he's the one who makes the white wines from
this domaine. And with talent ! His premier cru isn't far from the first star. Lemon yellow with
green glints, it delivers white flower and citrus scents typical of the appellation. Straight in its
minerality, it feels like the palate won't ever end. Its matter, still fresh, requires to lay down for at
least three years.

This is the smallest vineyard of the twelve premier cru in the village. A part on the
Clos Faubard, another one in the Beaurepaire and 80 ares just for him. A garnet 2007 with purple glints.
The intense nose is split between fruit and nuances of wood. The palate, fruity with soft tannins is long
and elegant. Lay down for one year before enjoying this bottle. A mention for the
Clos Genet rouge 2007 , a Village with a woody perfume coupled with soft tannins to drink from this winter.
