Bettane et Desseauve - 2010 ***
A very united family, a lot of generosityn a natural taste for the right flavor, beautiful vines on the
best terroirs form Saint-Aubin and Santenay, all of this explains the constant success of this
domaine since nearly twenty years. Despite the awful hail storm of the year, the domaine's course in 2005 is
perfect. The white 2006s are without the slightest doubt, along the ones of of Olivier Lamy, the best
wines ever produced in Saint-Aubin
-
Bâtard Montrachet Grand Cru 2007: 17/20
Great aromatic race, noble texture, perfect length, precise winemaking of excellent grapes, a real Bâtard.
-
A wonder of finesse, purity, transparency in the expression of a terroir as noble as the premiers
crus form Puligny Montrachet. All the charm of the vintage.
-
Very elegant, with noble vine flower notes, an intelligent oaky and a sophisticated finish,
worth great Folatières. A wine once again exemplary.
-
Beautiful colour, very pure and elegant strawberry aroma, a warm and fleshy wine, precise, long,
exemplary for the vintage.
-
Beautiful colour, rather ripe harvest, a lot of flesh and sensuousness in texture. Nice length,
the wine has got character, remarkable winemaking.
-
Strawberry and viola aromas, soft body, less fleshy than the Clos de la Comme, thin
and classy but lacks a bit of vinosity.
